Cancelling before you pick up your car
You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 72 hours prior to the beginning of your booking by way of written notice sent via email to email@example.com. Please note that calling our customer service number will not be accepted as proof of cancellation, only an email to firstname.lastname@example.org will be accepted.
If you cancel your booking within 72 hours of its start or renewal time you will be liable to pay a cancellation fee equal to the full rental fee for the following week minus the cost of insurance.
Cancelling when you have your car
If you decide to cancel your subscription after you pick up you car, a cancellation fee will apply.
You can only cancel your subscription by by way of written notice sent via email to email@example.com.
You will be charged 15% of the value of your remaining subscription payments as a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee can be no less than £180 and no more than £800.
If you subscribe to a car for 12 weeks that has a price of £220/week and you want to cancel 4 weeks into your subscription you would have 8 subscription payments left.
8 payments x £220 = £1760
15 % of £1760 is £264 and that will be your cancellation fee.
If you subscribe to a car for 12 weeks that has a price of £220/week and you want to cancel 10 weeks into your subscription you would have 2 subscription payments left.
2 payments x £220 = £440
15 % of £440 is £66. In this case the 15% is lower than the minimum fee of £180 so you would pay the minimum cancellation fee of £180.
