Drover's Breakdown Policy

What should I do if my vehicle breaks down?

Follow the steps provided in your Drover confirmation email. This is also on your Drover profile under the current subscriptions tab.  You must follow this breakdown cover provider, otherwise you will be liable for the costs. 

You will be given the name and phone number of your breakdown provider, give them a call to organise your recovery. 

If you are unable to reach your specific breakdown provider please get in touch with our Customer Success team who will be able to assist. You can reach them on 020 3848 4000.

You must also inform either Drover or the fleet partner of your breakdown.

What's not included in the breakdown cover? 

Any driver induced fault which includes: 

  • Lost keys 
  • Punctures or flat tyres
  • Flat batteries
  • Any other driver induced fault or mishap  

You'll be charged the standard callout fee, plus any additional fees charged by the breakdown provider. 

My breakdown recovery is RAC provided by Drover, how does this work? 

We use a pay as you go service where all mechanical breakdown is paid for and covered by the fleet partner. Any fault that is determined driver induced will be charged to the driver. 

What happens if I need to cancel the callout? 

Please call the RAC as soon as possible to cancel, if the patrol have been dispatched you will still be charged
