If your subscription is nearing the end and you’ve confirmed you don’t want to extend in your current car, there a few things you’ll need to do in order to make sure your return runs smoothly.

One of the first things to do will be to organise whether you’ll be dropping the car back at the supplier (if they accept walk-ins) or arranging a collection. We’ll be in touch before the end of your subscription to help arrange this with you. Please click the links here for collections or drop-offs to find out more information.

Upon the end of your subscription, the car must also be returned in the correct condition. Please check that you ensure the car meets the criteria outlined below ahead of the return.

  • FUEL
You must return the car with the same level of fuel it had at the start of your subscription. This should have been noted at the point of check-in. Empty tank returns may be subject to a fee.
  • CLEANING THE CAR
You must make sure your car has been cleaned prior to your return. Failure to clean the car prior to drop-off may result in a fee.
  • DAMAGES
Once the car comes back to the supplier, it shall be assessed for any damages, as per our fair wear and tear policy that you can read here. Any claims made by the supplier as to the liability and cost of damages will be taken into account and then assessed by Drover. We will be verifying any claim made by the supplier and evidence must be provided first. You will always have the chance to dispute this with us.
Please note, any damages made to the vehicle during your subscription must be noted as soon as they arise. Please refer to the damages guide here for the necessary steps to take once damages are discovered. For any accidents and serious incidents, you must contact Broker Direct within 24 hours to report this- contact details can be found in the link too.

If you have any queries or would like some more information, please start up a chat with us on our messaging service through our website or email partners@joindrover.com.
